We decided to spend a few days away in Normandy at the end of August on the motorbike. I ride pillion with my husband Paul on his GS1150. We stayed in Caen.

The cathedral was being cleaned. At least it was not completly covered in scaffolding which often is the case when we visit places of interest! The wires above are the power lines for the trams.

We had lunch here at the Bar de la Mer at Juno Beach

More lovely colours here with the basket stall
On our way home we wanted to stop off in Honfleur. It is somewhere I have wanted to visit for a long time. Sadly we only had time for a quick cup of coffee! It was such a hot day it was great to get the bike jackets off!

Sitting in our cafe, people watching!
We didn't have time for lunch - would have be nice here though!!
